Use Steam achievement data as a checklist for natural progress, economy milestones, trade, combat, research, and late-game settlement goals.
Checklist Categories
- Opening milestones: Humble Beginning, A Place to Call Home, and Hearth and Hamlet are tied to setting up camp, building the Chief's Hut, and reaching population 50.
- Economy milestones: Coin for the Realm asks players to build a Gold Mine, while A Merchant's Tale starts the trade route path.
- Research and magic milestones: Educated Minds is tied to researching Blueprints, while He's a Wizard and Just Pay It With Magic mark magic progression.
- Defense milestones: First Contact, Walls of Stone, Standing Strong, and Ancient Evil show when enemies, walls, armies, and survival events become part of the run.
- Late-game and challenge milestones should be planned around difficulty, route constraints, happiness, city upgrades, and completion cleanup.
How To Use Completion Rates
Steam and Exophase both list 24 achievements. Early achievements have high completion rates, while challenge-mode and restriction achievements are much rarer. That means the checklist should be ordered in two passes: first the natural settlement route, then optional cleanup and challenge goals.
Planning Achievements
Economy, trade, combat, and late-game achievements are planning tasks. Coin for the Realm requires the Gold Mine route, Merchant Kingdom requires repeated distant trades, We love it here asks for high happiness, and Steadfast Resolve requires a restricted trade route.
